Music Tonight is a powerful live music discovery platform designed for fans, venues, and artists alike. It combines personalized search, social features, and smart planning tools in one seamless app. We integrated OpenAI’s API to enhance content generation and built a custom Gig Generator that pulls venue data from Google Maps and scrapes real-time event info from venue websites. The result: hyper-local, up-to-date concert listings and a reimagined live music experience.
We aimed to build a location-aware engine that recommends only relevant shows. However, delivering precision without overwhelming users was easier said than done. Otherwise, too much information would create friction instead of value. The real challenge was balancing personalization with simplicity.
We built an AI-powered recommendation engine tailored to real-time user preferences. It filters events by genre, location, and popularity with precision. Moreover, it continuously learns from user behavior to improve recommendations. As a result, the experience feels clean, personal, and free from clutter.
