It does not matter in which sector you are in, but the only thing that matters is that you want to grow your website and want it to get all the attention. You only know one thing- the more visitors you get, the easier it will be to get the maximum audience. But the question arises- from where to begin? We know that we have a lot of options to get the traffic to the site, but the most effective one is SEO (Search Engine Optimization). SEO helps in ranking higher in search engine results due to which your site’s visibility increases. So, the next question is - Is your WordPress Site SEO- friendly? If yes, then it’s great, and if no, then follow the simple steps given below. In this post, we will explore 5 ways by which you can make your WordPress SEO-friendly. 1. Privacy settings While you are developing the WordPress website, uncheck the Privacy box. The reason to do so is very simple. We do it because it discourages the search engines from indexing the site. When you are ready to launch the site, then go to the configuration settings and check the privacy box. For permalink settings, select the custom structure option in the text box and configure search engine friendly URLs. 2. Content is “King” Always remember that content is “King”. Your content must be up to date and you must keep updating it from time to time. The content must match your services. If you want to bring your WordPress Site to rank then the content must be SEO-friendly. 3. Rename Uncategorized category There are posts on the websites which are not categorized. You must never leave them uncategorized. If you have done so, quickly select the “Edit” option from the c/ admin panel and rename the uncategorized category with the suitable name according to the blog. 4. Selection of an appropriate theme You must choose a responsive web design from the theme directories because such type of design consists of layout and menu items that will automatically adjust on mobiles, laptops, desktops, and tablets. Your website must be easily accessible. An appropriate responsive design will give a better online experience. 5. Review your theme code After the selection of the WordPress theme, it is good to analyze it for technical optimization errors. Different tools are available for this purpose. Most of the time in WordPress themes there is a presence of logos in H1 tags.
